Gleeson Homes have a part exchange scheme for home movers designed to take the aggravation out of moving and at the same time reducing the cost of selling your home.

Just choose your new Gleeson home from any of our developments offering this scheme, confirm your interest in home exchange and we will conduct market research to obtain an indication of value for your existing home.


We will get at least two independent valuations and agree the value of the part exchange property. If you wish to proceed you will be given details of the amount of non-refundable deposit required in order to cover the administration expenses
and we will arrange for a RICS Homebuyers report to be undertaken on your property in order to ensure that it is in a sound condition. If the property is under 10 years old and has the benefit of either the NHBC or Zurich gurantee, then we will not normally require a survey. In some circumstances it may be necessary to obtain further reports, for example damp, drains etc. This is normal procedure. If the RICS Homebuyers Report is unsatisfactory then Gleeson Homes reserve the right to proceed no further, or we may require a renegotiation of the part exchange price.

Once the satisfactory survey is completed our respective solicitors will be instructed to provide us with the contracts and you're well on the way to moving home. On completion we keep the agreed purchase price of your existing home, and you pay us the balance - that's the difference between the selling price of your old home and the purchase price of the new.
