We initiate the creation of Neighbourhood Watch Schemes on all our developments.

Every scheme is supported by the local Police & Neighbourhood Watch Association. The meetings present an opportunity to grow community spirit whilst providing residents with essential information on keeping their homes safe.

We work with local schools to educate children on the dangers of playing on building sites & coordinate competitions & projects for pupils throughout our development.

We are commited to giving priority of employment to people living within 2 miles of each site.

We will assist local labour initiatives and make a real & lasting contribution to the local community and economy.

We strive to employ local people and we are happy to enter into formal agreements to ensure that they are given employment priority.

Employees gain job related training through our CITB registered training centre at our Sheffield head office.

We are dedicated to giving people the opportunity to start a career in the housebuilding industry.

We provide training packages for local unemployed people to include apprenticeship schemes with the local college.

We will carry out alterations to our dwellings free of charge for disabled occupants.  Two people who apparently have identical disabilities may have totally different requirements and we are happy to alter our dwellings to suit individual needs.  This may include installing wet rooms and changes to internal configuration.  The property must be the main residence of the disabled person. We will facilitate the installation of specialist hardware such as stair lifts but we do not install these items.

Owner occupiers shoulder responsibility for their homes & are stakeholders in society, which is why we refuse to sell our homes to private landlords.  We are happy to see our customers profit from their purchase but we do not wish to put the profit into the pockets of private landlords.
