Gleeson Homes continues its investment into Sheffield with the opening of a new office at Sheffield Business Park to manage the house builder’s operations across Yorkshire and the North Midlands.

The opening of the regional office comes less than two years since Gleeson re-opened their Sheffield based head office after its temporary closure during the credit crunch. Since then the company has experienced rapid growth across all three of its regions, opening a regional office in Sunderland to cover North East operations and expanding its Bury office to cover the North West of England.
Gleeson specialises in the provision of low cost homes for people on low incomes in towns and cities across northern England. The company focuses their activities on the rejuvenation of brown field sites, building new homes in areas which desperately require them and bringing much needed jobs and investment to local communities.
The new team, led by Regional Director, Bryan Simpson, will coordinate the construction and sale of new homes across eight developments in Yorkshire & the North Midlands with a further four new developments expected to launch in the next six months.
Bryan explains, “Gleeson’s expertise in building quality homes at affordable prices, together with its range of purchase enabling schemes has led to the company experiencing strong sales even in today’s challenging economy.”
He adds, “In certain property hot spots, especially Sheffield, we have seen unprecedented levels of demand for our new homes, in some cases even before we have received planning permission. Gleeson homes are particularly popular with first time buyers as their competitive prices often mean it is cheaper to purchase a new home than to rent in a city such as Sheffield.”
The company is now looking forward to a busy 2012 which will see the house builder nearly double the number of its.
