Mayor Begins Construction of Gleeson’s New Homes in Bolton on Dearne
Gleeson Homes recently marked the start of construction on their Lowfield Park development in Bolton-on-Dearne with The Mayor of Barnsley, Councillor Karen Dyson accompanied by The Mayor’s Consort, Mr Martin Dyson, performing a traditional Sod Cutting Ceremony.
The Mayor cut the first sod and ceremoniously started the excavation for the first foundations on plot 1.
Sarah Marsden, Sales Director for Gleeson Homes explains, “We normally pay our Groundworkers for digging foundations but instead of paying The Mayor for her labour we have made a small contribution to The Mayor’s Charity Appeal”.
Lowfield Road, is already creating a buzz in the community and with two bedroom homes starting from only £92,995, three bedroom homes from £117,995 and stunning four bedroom homes from £165,995 it is clear to see why.
Sarah adds “At Gleeson we build homes for local people at prices they can afford, we also have a range of schemes available to help both first time buyers, and those with a house to sell, to purchase their new home”.
The Mayor took a brief tour of the new development and, after the short ceremony, said, “I am delighted that Gleeson Homes has chosen to invest in Bolton-on-Dearne. It is clear to see that Gleeson’s new homes at Lowfield Park will be a great addition to the local community”
Sarah said “It was a pleasure to welcome The Mayor and Mr Dyson to Lowfield Park and make a contribution to the charities their appeal is supporting in Barnsley. We hope to see them again once our beautiful show homes are open next year”.
Gleeson’s Sales Office is due to open in the coming weeks. For more information please call 0114 2612900 or visit www.gleeson-homes.co.uk.
