Buyers camp out overnight for their perfect home!

Two families moved into their new Gleeson Homes at the Forge Court development in Sunderland earlier this year.  Now next door neighbours, both couples camped out overnight on the release date of the plots to make sure they were first in line for their perfect home!

On the release date for the properties, both Ian and Dan found themselves camped outside the sales office at Forge Court at 4am, after a cup of tea and a chat they realised they were queuing for two plots next door to each other.

Ian 29 and Kelly 28, moved with their son from a rented property close by and are delighted with their new home.

Ian explains “Our new house is much bigger and more affordable than the property we previously rented.  We have a driveway and a nice sized garden which is great for our family.  With the arrival of our new baby son we couldn’t wish for a better home and development to live on.  It is quiet and close to shops, schools and the local hospital.”

Ian and Kelly used the Government backed Help to Buy Scheme when purchasing their new home.  After looking around a few nearby developments their new Gleeson Home was the most affordable 4 bedroom detached house they had viewed.

Dan 26 and Kirsty 25 also recently moved into their new Gleeson home at Forge Court.  As their first home together after living with parents, it was important for the couple to find a safe, quiet development, close to shops and other amenities.  Their new 3 bedroom house was the perfect choice.  The couple used one of the Gleeson Homes first time buyer schemes to assist with the purchase of their new home.

Kirsty commented “We love our new home, the mortgage is so affordable and it’s lovely to have our own space and garden.  The service from Gleeson Homes and the Sales Negotiator at Forge Court made the experience much easier.”
