Gleeson Homes were joined by the Deputy Civic Mayor of Doncaster Councillor Linda Curran and the Deputy Mayor of Doncaster and Cabinet Member for Housing and Equalities Councillor Glyn Jones at their King Edward Court show home opening event in Thorne. There are a selection of 2, 3 & 4 bedroom semi and detached homes available with prices from only £96,995.
Jason Lock, Area Manager for Gleeson Homes commented “We are committed to supporting good quality housing developments that meet the needs of local people, including those who want to own a home of their own.”
The new homes at King Edward Court are proving extremely popular with a number of homes being sold off plan. Gleeson Homes offer a variety of buying schemes aimed to help First Time Buyers take that first step onto the property ladder including the Government backed Help to Buy scheme.
Councillor Curran added “I’m delighted with the quality of the new homes. It’s lovely to know that not only are they priced to suit local people but that they are being built using local labour, including apprentices, giving young people the chance to gain qualifications as they work.”
MJ Gleeson has recently been voted the most sustainable company in the UK due to the housebuilder’s use of environmentally friendly materials such as gravel driveways, commitment to Living Wage and working closely with local communities in which they build through their Community Matters scheme.
