The Lord Mayor of Sheffield, Councillor Anne Murphy, visited Gleeson’s Cradock Court site to launch the development of 96 brand new 2, 3 and 4 bedroom homes.
Cradock Court is Gleeson’s 4th development in Sheffield and is in an ideal location, just off City Road, close to local shops and schools and only a 10 minute drive from the centre of Sheffield.
The Lord Mayor joined Gleeson’s Regional Director Bryan Simpson and Sales Manager Maxine Baxter to mark the start of construction of the new homes which are priced from £116,995.
Maxine Baxter explains, “Buyers are often surprised at the affordability of Gleeson homes. Most buyers find that purchasing a new Gleeson Home is a cheaper than renting. All our homes include a driveway and front and rear gardens and we also offer a range of schemes to assist first time buyers, such as the Government backed Help to Buy scheme. Cradock Court is perfect for buyers looking to live close to shops, schools and public transport links.”
On visiting the site the Lord Mayor commented, “I am delighted to see the construction of new homes in Sheffield."
MJ Gleeson has recently been voted the most sustainable company in the UK due to the housebuilder’s use of environmentally friendly materials such as gravel driveways, commitment to Living Wage and working closely with local communities in which they build through the Gleeson Community Matters scheme.
Bryan Simpson, Regional Director at Gleeson Homes explains, “In addition to promoting home ownership to local young people and helping them to get out of the rent trap and onto the property ladder Gleeson is dedicated to making a difference in the community. We provide job opportunities for local people and subcontractors, offer apprenticeship schemes and provide sponsorship for local junior sports teams.”
If you have a junior sports team in need of sponsorship or would like further details on the Apprenticeship Scheme, Gleeson would like to hear from you.
Gleeson’s Sales Office at Cradock Court is open Thursday to Monday 10am until 5pm.
