The wait is nearly over for locals who have been eagerly awaiting Gleeson’s new development at Langwith Junction. Earlier this year, Bolsover District Council granted Gleeson permission to redevelop the former railway land on Station Road into sixty eight 2, 3 and 4 bedroom new homes. The council were very supportive of Gleeson’s proposal which focused on building homes for private sale at prices local first time buyers can afford.
The development, which will be known as Burlington Court, will include a mix of traditional semi and detached homes which all feature a driveway or garage. The spacious new homes will be available with a range of schemes, including Help to Buy, aimed to get first time buyers onto the property ladder.
As with every Gleeson development, local people will benefit through their Community Matters programme and they are now inviting applications from local junior sports teams looking for kit sponsorship as part of their Sports Foundation plus applications from local young people who are interested in the Gleeson Apprenticeship Scheme.
Bryan Simpson Regional Managing Director for Gleeson Homes adds, “We are delighted that the council has approved our plans to bring much needed new homes to Langwith Junction. We would urge local buyers to register their interest in the homes via our website to avoid missing out.”
