Ground work is already well underway on Gleeson’s brand new development, Hamelin Park, just off Broad Oak Road and interest in the homes is so strong that the housebuilder drafted in The Mayor and Mayoress of St Helens to kick start construction.
Gleeson specialises in building homes for local people at prices they can afford and the Mayor’s visit marks the start of build on the 52 spacious 2, 3 and 4 bedroom semi and detached homes.
The Sales Office on the development will be opening shortly and Gleeson will be offering both Help to Buy plus its other unique schemes on all homes to help buyers get on, or move up the property ladder.
On viewing the site The Mayor said, “We are delighted that Gleeson has chosen to develop this once vacant piece of scrubland into new homes. There is a shortage of housing in our area and it is great to hear that the prices of Gleeson’s new homes will be affordable to both first time buyers and families who are looking for a bigger property.”
Nick Uttley, Director for Gleeson Homes said, “Gleeson already has a strong track record across the north of England for building quality homes predominantly on brownfield sites and we will soon be opening a brand new regional office in St Helens to coordinate construction of our developments across Merseyside.”
More information regarding the first release of homes at Hamelin Park will be released shortly. For more information please click here.
