Kayden Atkins aged 9, conducted the official opening of show homes by cutting the ribbon at the Kilner Park development where homes are available from £114,995. The budding new interior designer had his train themed design picked when Gleeson held their ‘design a bedroom’ competition at Denaby Main Primary School earlier this year. Kayden who was delighted to see his creation come to life, was joined by proud parents and a tearful Nana who were there to cheer him on and described it as an unforgettable experience for him. The competition was well received by the community, with the Gleeson team having to pick a winner from an assembly hall full of entries from the whole school.
Vicky Garton the Headteacher at comments, “This project has been very inspiring for bot pupil and parents. These new affordable home are a great addition for the community. The children really enjoyed designing the show home bedroom and Kayden was delighted he won and his bedroom design was created”
The newly opened show homes will no doubt create more interest for a development where locals have already shown a strong uptake. These homes are clearly much needed in Coinsborough, with homes selling as soon as they go on sale. Locals have been quick to secure the exact house types they want by registering their interest early on. Anyone looking to buy on the development will need to sign up to be notified when their home goes on sale.
Louise McCue Sales Director said, “We all thoroughly enjoyed Kayden’s grand opening at Kilner Park, we want him to remember us when he becomes a famous interior designer, as we found him first! Kilner Park has proved a popular site amongst locals. We have been inundated with renters who are keen to become proud new home owners. We have now sold half the homes on the development and with our homes being the most affordable in Coinsborough, locals will need to register their interest early to avoid missing out!”
